Looking for some new music
all this wonderful music remindes me of my High school sweetheart in the 60;s she passed away 3 years ago, but this music celebrates her life…Drive in movies, never locking your house at night, wearing a Tie on a date…double dating with some oneGod I miss those days…people had respect for each other…,
Solar Flares, Earthquakes, Prophecy ?
they sang faster and faster
@MrSkyHarbor LIp-synced ?- Networks and program excecs were all paranoid – so ya pretty well all these music vid from back then were. Remember the Monkeys Mike Nesmith on one early vid instrumental saying “play Magic fingers” lol – I just sit back and enjoy the memories
@TheSpawnofSkynyrd Go For it! No Copy Right that I know of – just something I heard – Have a great Summer
Don’t demean John Sebastian. He wrote it, he captured the inner city sweat on both sides of the Atlantic. We native NYC’ers grabbed the vibe, as well as the UK, Irish , French and Italian youth did. That’s right up there with John and Paul. Joe Cocker is a great COVER ARTIST, but even I can paint by numbers. Give credit where credit is due.
Solar Flares, Earthquakes, Prophecy ?
@1948PontiusPilot – I love that line… “Growing old is compulsary – growing up is an option.” I’m gonna steal that from you if that’s cool!
). I myself will be 31 soon, but I listen to music in the 60′s and 70′s. (And a bit of the 40′s/50′s as well), because I just feel like that 60′s and 70′s were when real music existed.
Solar Flares, Earthquakes, Prophecy ?
It’s a good single! I’m amused by Sebastian’s kind of ‘what the hell?’ thing about 3/4 through the number… all lip-synced of course ;-}
