@snakespan Good observation.. but I think it os more for his dislike of the song. I have read several interviews where Hendrix said he hated Hey Joe and called it a cowboy song. It is the song that broke him into the mainstream i n’67, so imagine how many times he has played it until the videop above. Probably hundreds. I find it hard to beleive that he forgot the lyrics.
