Rob was such a beautiful and talented man who was probably too good for this world. We were blessed to have him as long as we did. Now he sings with the angels. RIP Rob.

Wow, what a delicious slice of bygone American pop culture!
I think these guys charted something like 29 singles, 10th on the all time Billboard 100 list, and its easy to see why., Their hits were bursting with so many memorable hooks you only had to hear a song once, and you couldn’t get it out of your head. The lyrics never sounded forced or trite, and seemed to flow naturally from the beautifully crafted melodies. Rob is gone, but the music lives on! -

the first cross country tour i ever did was opening for them. i haven’t seen rob or warren in a long time, but i always liked them both very much and the tour was great fun. part of a beechnut gum promotion where high schools could win the grass roots and me for the day. you will be missed pal.
