@RunsWithPallasCats i listen to this song every night before i go to bed also as it always makes me feel better , i love leonard and have been listening to him now for 40 years and i love him more as i get older, i have seen him twice live and missed two concerts in france last year due to a strike in the airports. i am delighted to hear of someone else who listens to anthem every night. long live leonard cohen

Looking for some ways to market your music ?
This from one who wrote a line suggesting he had no understanding of the SermonOnTheMount. It takes a true HeroOfCreation to find a foundation of hope for the faithless. Maybe this theme was touched by others earlier or with more eloquence or passion, – I’m not learned enough to say.
But, for me- this is up there on the ShouldBe Required Reading List with SongOf Myself – SermonOnMount – USAConstitution – Cyrano D’Bergerac’s retort when Death tells him to fight is no use – & others, but noroom -

Solar Flares, Earthquakes, Prophecy ?
I put Leonard’s CD in my CD alarm clock because I thought that “Anthem” would be a great song to wake up to each morning. After a while, I found I prefer to hear it at night instead! It reminds me to have hope that if the day didn’t go as I’d wanted, tomorrow is another day. It puts everything in perspective and helps me let go of the day and turn toward the next day.
For some reason, I love waking up to “Suzanne” or “Nightingale.” -

If you love Leonard Cohen, and surrealistic symbolistic lyrics, you’d like my music too. He’s one of my two great musical heroes. I made a song called “A Winter Evening’s Tale”.
