I love this. I love how the FL dont try to play with LB but instead use them as contrast. It works so well, as FL are doing their thing, LB just opens up in the middle of the song, like a black hole that collapses on itself, only to regroup up with the FL at the end. Cool song structure.

@grizzlypattums Just curious, which Bowie albums have you heard? Bowie has covered a lot of ground in his career and there’s definitely a few shitty phases (And Ziggy Stardust is way overrated, Aladdin Sane is better), but I bet there’s a Bowie period you could dig. I’d reccomend checking out Station to Station, Scary Monsters and Super Creeps, and Aladdin Sane if you ever feel like giving him another shot.

@cozymonk Why do you have to be such a stickler, just enjoy the music its fucking bomb. And to call this uncreative is really just proof that you might not be seeing the bigger picture. Listen less as a critic and more as someone trying to understand art.
Looking for some ways to market your music ?
My problem is that this song sounds way too similar to “Is David Bowie Dying” on their Neon Indian comp. Compositionally it’s very similar: The tempo, the rhythm, the beat of the lyrics, that very simple 2-note bass riff that is almost identical to “Bowie” (which Brian Gibson looks bored as hell playing). The thing that really makes this stand out is the drum solo. I still like the song, I just am a little disappointed by the lack of creativity. One uncreative song among hundreds isn’t bad.
