This is off Children of the Milkman CD and its one of those sleeper songs that is really mellow and light but grows on you into a monster. Like most all of Cloud’s songs its a little perplexing. “If I do what I want to do, I’ll go to jail for a year or two, If I stay in my living room, I’ll never get over the hill.” Hmmm, that certainly peeks the curiosity. Then, ” thinking back to the days spent in high school, science teachers they would always eyeball you, Wish I’d seen the left side of the menu, I might’ve gone over the hill.” Is this about a bad teacher ? or is Over The Hill just a metaphor for doing something out of the ordinary. Nice melody either way..
